AB Tech Multi Purpose Building

This project was part of a three-building CM@R contract with Buncombe County totaling $45 Million.  This particular building was designed by ClarkNexsen (Architects) and Kloesel Engineering (Structural), cost $6.3 million and includes a kitchen, two mechanical mezzanines, the campus police station, and an 8300SF auditorium with a hardwood stage in a space created using steel joists spanning over 100’.  This structure sits adjacent to a 258,000 SF 650-space cast-in-place concrete parking garage that was also part of this joint venture and built concurrently on a very tight site.  This parking structure was designed by Keith Hargrove Architect, PC of Asheville.
